When we see house spiders in our home, we often wonder how they got there. Spiders always seem to find a way to get in to our homes home but there are things you can do to keep them under control. The three main reasons spiders come in to our homes is for food, warmth, and water, and in truth they aren’t really going to cause any harm to you. The problem is that 75% of people are either mildly or severely afraid of spiders and we need to keep them out so people don’t freak out when they see one!

First of all it is important that you don’t let clutter build up in your home as spiders are crafty creatures that like to lurk in the shadows of all your clutter. Even piles of stuff around your home’s perimeter may draw more spiders in, so if possible you should move stuff in the immediate perimeter of your home to somewhere further away.

Also its important to remind people that if spiders do get in to your home there is no need to panic. Remember that spiders can’t plant eggs under your skin and you are not swallowing X amount of spiders every year. You can find out more about house spiders in this info-graphic from Any Pest.
