Moving house can be an extremely stressful experience, especially when you add kids to the mix, trust me, I’ve been there. You’ve got your daughter on one arm sobbing about having to leave behind her beautiful bedroom, and your son throwing a tantrum over having to say goodbye to his pals. All you want to do is get the last of the boxes packed up before anybody else starts crying (at this point, it might even be you).
An RC toy is an awesome way to keep your kids busy during the moving process. Having a toy like this to play around with will keep them entertained and out of the way of the moving men. Below I’ve listed a couple of great options, so you’re sure to find something to suit your kids no matter whether you want to keep them inside where you can see them, or outside and totally out of the way of all of the packing chaos.

RC Car
A car is the classic RC toy for your kid. It’s a good choice because they can choose to play with it indoors or outdoors, so you feel confident that no matter what stage of the move you are in, your child will be staying out of the way.
When choosing an RC car, I suggest you consider a couple of factors: cost, convenience, and durability. First and foremost, you want to pick something that’s within your budget, and if you’re in the middle of a big move, then money is probably tight already. However, you also want to be sure that the one you pick is suitable for your kid and where they will be using it.
So, for example, if your child intends to use the RC car outside, make sure you pick one that is waterproof (or semi-waterproof/weather-proof at least). Also, look for one that has a good battery life compared with its charging time. RC Helicopter
To me, flying an RC toy is a step up from driving a car, and I’m sure your child would agree! There’s something about controlling something as you watch it buzz through the air that gets me excited every time. An RC helicopter is an awesome choice for your kid, and it’s just about guaranteed to give them hours of enjoyment!
Now, sometimes helicopters can be a little tricky to control for beginners, so it’s important to look for a suitable model. This toy is easy to control, stable, has a long flight time, and is easily portable (so you can take it with you to the new house, no problem).

When you hear “drone,” you might not always think of a toy suitable for your kid. In fact, these days there are tonnes of cool child-friendly drone toys that are just perfect to play with at times like these. Imagine how much fun they’ll have learned how to take aerial photos and videos (and what great memories they’ll have of your old house when they look at these pictures later).
