  1. You made a good point that more experience in the industry would indicate that a residential HVAC contractor can be very versatile in what kind of unit and model they can work on. My AC started spewing out smoke the other day and I haven’t used it since. I’m kind of curious what part may have burned out by I think I will just leave that to a contractor in case I might cause more trouble if I try to inspect it myself.
